Another view of the new construction progress. The space between the two walls closest to you is about 9 feet wide for bathrooms and a kitchen with serving window. The large space to the right is auditorium. You can see that the walls are going up rapidly and the foundation backfilling is complete. There will be columns poured in the spaces between exterior wall sections for hurricane resistance. In the previous posting I mentioned plumbing and electrical work to be done yet. This is part of the contract. We will receive keys to a completed building--ready to use! That will happen in early June.Mission Work in La Palma, El Salvador La Palma is in northern El Salvador near the Honduran border. It is a beautiful mountain town with a great climate. We go there every 3 months to support the Iglesia de Cristo and the La Palma Christian School and to help the people gain a healthier lifestyle. We ship medical supplies and equipment to the region.
