When we were in La Palma in early December, we met a man named John Wilson from Atlanta, GA, USA. He was staying at the hotel, and I asked him what his story was. He told of driving from Atlanta through Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala to El Salvador and of his plans to keep going south into South America.
