Today is election day in El Salvador. The mayor of La Palma was re-elected for three years in January, so we are still welcome to work in his region. Today a new president and some congressional representatives will be elected. The way they conduct elections is somewhat complicated, but it is a big deal in their country.
Please be in prayer that the parties/persons elected will continue to allow the Word of God to be preached through the mission work in La Palma and that we will be able to continue doing good for the people there. Pray that the people of El Salvador will have their rights as humans respected by the new government.
See http://luterano.blogspot.com/ for one person's report on the status of the elections.
