I just got a call from the Consulate. The franchise has been resolved and approved. A representative from the Director of Foreign Affairs is hand-carrying the paperwork to Customs for release, which could happen today but more likely will be Monday. They do not have a holiday Monday like we do, so that is good. However, this is their Independence Month so the government is operating slowly! (NO KIDDING!)
