Claudia was in a wheelchair all of her life. At 22, she told us she would like to learn to walk. We got her a good wheelchair to make her life more comfortable. A lady from Monett paid for physical therapy for her. Our nurses encouraged her. Our teams made her some ramps to help her mobility. A power hospital bed helped her get up alone. In June, Morris Ellis made her some parallel bars to practice walking. She is working to walk by herself, and can do it with a walker or other assistance. Here she gets help from Mom and Dad (Ana and Trini) to walk across the back of the church to a chair.
